It was the month of April, when Vembu first decided to join up with VMware users to learn their interests, likes, dislikes, expectations from a backup product focused on virtual environments. The VMUG UserCon event is all about discussing ideas and new developments on VMware where users will learn from employees and partners of VMware. Vembu decided to showcase its flagship product Vembu BDR.
The reception we got from the attendees in Austin and San Diego was splendid, which made us participate in VMUG UserCon events held at Boston and Kansas city, to learn more of the users interests and to get their attention. This time, we had an upgraded version of Vembu BDR v3.0 To show which supports vSphere 6 backups.
Vembu BDR v3.0 is the first backup product to support vSphere 6 backups in production environments.
The in-person demo sessions we had with users was informative and we’re already working on some key features requested by them during our discussions.
