BDRShield introduces direct streaming method for Bare – Metal Recovery (BMR) which significantly reduces manual tasks and minmize downtime. This option allows backup data to be streamed directly from BDRShield to the target bare-metal host over the network. By facilitating a direct and continuous data flow, the Direct Streaming method simplifies the entire bare-metal recovery process, ensuring a faster and more efficient restoration.

Teams Backup – Chat & Conversation

BDRShield now supports the backup of Microsoft Teams chat and conversation data, providing comprehensive protection for your organization’s communication. This new feature ensures that all important discussions, files, and information exchanged within Teams are securely backed up, safeguarding against accidental deletion, data loss, or compliance requirements.

Enhancements in BDRShield v7.1.0

  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Backup Configuration pages are now segregated based on objects
  • Allows folder exclusion at the backup level for Microsoft 365 mailboxes
  • Improved Exclusion filter based on file type, folder name, and/or size for backup of OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Google Drive & Shared Drive
  • Exclude specific entities from the backup job in-case all the entities are selected for Group OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Backup View Configuration has been updated to display host-specific files and folders
  • Endpoint names are now displayed consistently and uniquely across all pages and reports
