BDRShield v9.2.0 U2 is Generally Available Now!

Backup Copy is now available for VMware and Hyper-V backup jobs, enabling the creation of secondary backup copies on another storage medium. This provides an additional layer of protection, strengthens disaster recovery readiness, and helps meet long-term data retention requirements.

Server Proxy repositories now support configurable immutable storage through Governance Mode and Compliance Mode. These options help protect backup data from unauthorised modification or deletion, strengthening ransomware resilience while addressing organisational security and regulatory requirements.

File and Disk-image backups can now be stored on a dedicated server proxy, allowing organisations to separate backup processing from backup storage. This enhances deployment flexibility, improves storage scalability, and simplifies backup infrastructure management.

File-level recovery for disk image backups can now be performed using an Alternate Reader host. This allows users to browse and restore individual files even when the original source machine is unavailable, ensuring faster and more reliable data recovery.

An integrity check for backup data is now supported on Linux Server Proxy, allowing users to verify the health and consistency of backup data. This helps ensure backups remain recoverable and dependable before they are needed for disaster recovery.
