The last HTG event, HTG Summit in May earlier this year was good fun and we have been waiting for the next. We can’t wait to meet you guys next week at Orlando for HTG All & Q4 Meetings and do what we know to do best, talk about backup and disaster recovery for MSPs!
I was speaking to a partner last week and they had positioned their backup service in a very interesting manner. They said they don’t sell backup, but they sell data protection and they achieve the same through a world class datacenter running world class software. Customers do not want backup. They want to sleep knowing their data in a safe place.
And I think that made the most sense.
Do not just own the backup software; own the entire process. Own the data. And make sure you provide the most secure infrastructure for that data.
